Lutheran General is truly a special hospital, from the moment I walked through these doors as a medical student I felt like this was a place I could call home. Over the past three years I have grown so much both personally and professionally taking roles in patient care as well as resident education advocacy with resident forum and The Advocate Graduate Medical Education Committee.

I am passionate about providing excellent care to our patients and ensuring that our residents are well-trained and prepared for their future careers. We have a strong commitment to creating a positive and supportive workplace culture, We find that once you choose to make a home at Lutheran General you may find that you never want to leave! (You’ll find Most of our attending physicians felt the same way) We believe that our residents should be able to thrive both professionally and personally, and we offer a variety of resources to support their well-being.

If you are looking for a challenging and rewarding career in internal medicine, I encourage you to consider our program. When I’m not at the hospital you can find me outside with my dog, preparing for fantasy football, or cooking gourmet meals for my family.

I knew I wanted to complete my Internal Medicine residency at Advocate Lutheran General from the moment I interviewed here. My positive interview encounter foreshadowed and translated well to my experience during residency. Residency has been beyond anything I had imagined. Fortunately, I was immediately impressed by the program's supportive environment that fosters an opportunity to learn and grow through devoted teaching faculty and emphasis on resident wellbeing.

As someone originally from California, I am beyond blessed to call Lutheran my second home and look forward to giving back to this program as Chief Resident while helping grow this program, one day at a time. I am excited to have the opportunity to work with the entire residency class alongside my Co-Chief, as we try to promote a positive learning environment in helping achieve their lifelong goals and dreams.

When I’m not in the hospital, you can find me exploring the outdoors (e.g., hiking, national parks), spending time with friends and family, playing and watching sports, or cooking.
