Clinical training

The rotations and time spent in each are variable but are in general as follows for the 3 year fellowship:

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital

  • General GI / Interventional / Hepatology / Endoscopy:  20 months

  • Research: 7 months

  • Colorectal / GI Radiology: 1 month

  • Esophageal Manometry/Capsule Endoscopy:  1 week / 2 weeks

  • Continuity Clinic:  ½ day per week

University of Chicago Medical Center

  • Hepatology:  2 months

  • Nutrition: 1 month

  • Inflammatory Bowel Disease:  1 month

Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine

  • Hepatology: 2 months

  • Inflammatory Bowel Disease:  1 month

  • Esophageal Manometry: 1 week
