Family Medicine Clerkship is a six- or eight-week outpatient rotation offered to students of the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine (CCOM) and Rosalind Franklin University Chicago Medical School (RFU/CMS).

Enrollment for this elective opens March 1. All medical students interested in doing the Family Medicine Elective rotation must contact the site coordinator for availability. This elective is a four-week inpatient rotation offered only to MS4. This elective is offered to medical students from affiliated and non-affiliated medical schools. Student must be from an LCME- or AOA-accredited medical school.

Rotations will be canceled if required forms are not received and approved by the site coordinator a minimum of four weeks prior to the start of the rotation. Please complete the required forms.

Students from non-affiliated schools should have their schools send the site coordinator an authorization/approval letter of an outside elective. These students must also complete or provide:
