Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital's west tower

Building sustainably

Good Shepherd Hospital Building

At Advocate Health Care, we take care to align each facet of our organization to our mission of health and healing. This includes how we design and construct our hospital and ambulatory buildings with an eye for healing, safety, efficiency and sustainability.

Through careful design, collaboration and construction, we were able to achieve LEED Healthcare Silver certification for our new West Tower. LEED, which stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is a third-party green building rating system created by the U.S. Green Building Council that measures a building’s sustainable features.
