Building healthy spaces

Sustainability, safety and efficiency are core elements of all Advocate Health Care construction projects. We’re pursuing Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) for Healthcare certification on all new major buildings and have developed a new tool – the Healthy Spaces Roadmap – to ensure sustainability in all renovations and projects throughout Advocate.

Advocate Christ Medical Center has two LEED-certified buildings.

LEED-certified buildings:

  • Advocate Christ Medical Center – Outpatient Pavilion (LEED Gold – 2014)
  • Advocate Lutheran General Hospital – Patient Care Tower (LEED Gold – 2008)
  • Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center – Center for Advanced Care (LEED for Healthcare Silver – 2016)
  • Advocate Christ Medical Center – East Tower (LEED for Healthcare Gold 2017)
  • Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital – West Tower (LEED for Healthcare Silver - 2018)
  • Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital – Modernization Project (LEED for Healthcare Silver - 2019)
