Daily didactic and/or case-based lectures are provided by our dedicated Teaching Faculty and span all subspecialties of radiology, structured around a 2-year curriculum cycle.
A dedicated “Business of Radiology” curriculum has also been implemented to ensure awareness of legal topics regarding the healthcare system as well as ensure competency in business topics.
A Radiation Physics lecture series is provided each year by Telerad Physics, LLC.
Additional lectures provided to our residents include:
- Weekly multi-disciplinary tumor-board conferences with diagnostic images presented by radiology residents
- RSNA Annual Meetings, residents excused from clinical duties to attend
- Monthly combined Radiology-Pathology correlation conferences, with interesting cases presented by both radiology and pathology residents
- Periodic journal club discussions presented by the radiology resident to review current radiology literature
- M&M conference presentations
- Loyola ER Symposium, all R1’s attend in preparation to take overnight call
- Boards Review Courses, funded for all R3’s
- AIRP, 4 week Radiologic Pathology Correlation Course
