At Advocate, fighting cancer is truly a team effort – with you right at the center. Together, you and our dedicated specialists will create a treatment plan to meet your unique needs and give you the best possible outcome.

Each of our cancer care teams is led by some of the most experienced medical and radiation oncologists in the Midwest, who combine warm, compassionate care with the skill to take on even the most complex cancers. They regularly meet with other leading specialists – including surgeons, radiologists, dietitians, social workers, physical therapists, pharmacists and more – to review your plan from every angle and provide all the support you need to heal.

That high level of care extends to our skilled nurses, many of whom have achieved special Oncology Nurse Certification® (OCN). That makes them uniquely prepared to help you and your family manage all aspects of a cancer diagnosis, including any emotional or social challenges. You’ll also be paired with your own nurse navigator or coordinator, who serves as your personal adviser and partner through every phase of the journey.
