Welcome from the program director

Welcome to the Illinois Masonic Family Medicine Residency website. This is a great place to begin to explore our program and to have available as a reference during interview season.

We truly have a family feel here at Masonic. We pride ourselves on hard work, academic excellence and preparing residents to practice with confidence in any setting they may choose after graduation.

Our faculty are leaders in our hospital and in the broader Family Medicine community and thus serve as excellent role models to help residents become leaders themselves. The faculty’s diverse interests provide a rich background for residents to tap into in order to begin to shape their ideal career. As Family Physicians there are a multitude of ways to impact the community – direct patient care, hospital leadership, outpatient leadership, government policy development, just to name a few. We believe that fostering the personal growth of each resident is one of the most important aspects of residency training.
