As part of Advocate Health, Advocate Children’s Hospital is one of the largest network providers of pediatric services in Illinois and the nation. Fellows care for diverse patient populations by rotating at several hospitals through Chicagoland.

Advocate Children’s Hospital in Park Ridge is located in Chicago’s Northwest Suburbs within Advocate Lutheran General Hospital and includes:

  • 46-bed inpatient pediatrics unit
  • 10-bed pediatric observation unit
  • 19-bed pediatric intensive care unit
  • 40-bed newborn nursery
  • 54-bed neonatal intensive care unit
  • 12-bed pediatric emergency department

Advocate Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn is located immediately Southwest of Chicago connected to Advocate Christ Medical Center and includes:

  • 45-bed inpatient pediatrics unit
  • 4-bed pediatric observation unit
  • 24-bed pediatric intensive care unit
  • 16-bed pediatric cardiac intensive care unit
  • 36-bed newborn nursery
  • 61-bed neonatal intensive care unit
  • 22-bed pediatric emergency department

Evanston Hospital within the NorthShore University Health System is affiliated with Advocate Children’s Hospital through the Chicagoland Children’s Health Alliance (CCHA), which also includes the University of Chicago’s Comer Children’s Hospital. Fellows complete their Community Hospitalist Rotation at Evanston Hospital.

Advocate Sherman Hospital in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago is the site where fellows complete their Newborn Care Rotation.
