Specialty services:

  • Cancer Survivorship Center: We are home to the first stand-alone, hospital-affiliated survivorship center in Illinois. It provides free resources and comprehensive, holistic support to cancer patients as well as their families and caregivers. It also offers classes, groups and programs that help patients live life beyond cancer. Learn more.
  • Adult Leukemia Service: The Bone Marrow Transplant Program works closely with hematologists and oncologists responsible for inpatient, acute and chronic leukemia patients and offers this service to ensure those patients receive quality care that is convenient, timely, seamless and accessible.

  • American Association of Tissue Banking (AATB) provides a list of accredited AATB sperm banks.
  • American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) offers information on reproductive medicine.
  • Directory of Sperm Banks maintains basic sperm banking information along with lists of sperm banks in the United States.
  • Fertility Centers of Illinois is an organization of fertility specialists who can help you create a fertility plan based on your personal needs.
  • Fertile Hope offers fertility resources for cancer patients along with information about treatment options. It also provides suggestions to help overcome some of the financial barriers that accompany cancer.
  • International Council on Infertility Information Dissemination (INCIID) helps individuals and couples explore their family building options. It provides current information and immediate support regarding the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of infertility and pregnancy loss and offers guidance to those considering adoption or child-free lifestyles.
  • Oncofertility features a fertility timeline for patients at all cancer stages, from diagnosis to after treatment. It also offers fertility information for parents of children with cancer.
  • RESOLVE  is the National Infertility Association. It provides information on the infertility journey, including treatment, coping, third-party reproduction, adoption, child-free living, advocacy and more. Local chapters can be found on the group's website.
  • Coping with Cancer is a consumer magazine for people whose lives have been touched by cancer. It provides knowledge, hope and inspiration from cancer survivors and health care professionals.
  • CURE is a quarterly magazine with an annual resource guide and special issue that combines the science and humanity of cancer for those who have to deal with it on a daily basis. CURE provides scientific information in easy-to-understand language with equally understandable illustrations.
  • Heal: Living Well After Cancer is a tool for cancer survivors from the day treatment ends and for the rest of their lives.
  • Healthline Cancer Learning Center offers original, physician-reviewed content, health tools and videos.
  • Journal of the National Cancer Institute (print ISSN: 0027-8874 / online ISSN: 1460-2105) publishes peer-reviewed, original research from around the world and is internationally acclaimed as the source for the most up-to-date news and information from the rapidly changing fields of cancer research and treatment.
  • Survivorship Guide for Bone Marrow/Stem Cell Transplant: Coping with Late Effects (2010) shares information and awareness about the challenges individuals face in the years after a bone marrow or stem cell transplant and provides targeted information and resources to help survivors cope better with these challenges.
  • Today’s Caregiver Magazine provides information, support and guidance to families and professional caregivers.
  • Women & Cancer Magazine is a quarterly magazine for all women impacted by a cancer diagnosis, offering them a trusted resource dedicated to topics related to the prevention and management of cancer while emphasizing wellness, fostering community and inspiring hope.
  • Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation offers education, support and research to patients with multiple myeloma.
