Advocate Christ Medical Center, a Level I trauma center for adults and children, is a leader in the care of life-threatening injuries. This allows us the opportunity to offer superior training and field internships for those pursuing a career in emergency care as an emergency medical technician, paramedic or nurse.

Advocate Christ also serves the Chicagoland area as the designated disaster Regional Hospital Coordination Center (RHCC) hospital for Emergency Medical Services in Region VII. As the RHCC hospital, Advocate Christ is responsible for coordinating disaster medical response upon activation of the State Emergency Medical Disaster Plan by the Illinois Department of Public Health.
