Welcome to the Advocate Children's Hospital Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship Program. Established in 1991, our ACGME-accredited program is committed to educating a diverse group of trainees to become outstanding pediatric cardiologists who can provide a full range of services for children with heart disease. Advocate Children's Hospital is clinically aligned with University of Chicago and NorthShore University Health System and together have formed one of the largest pediatric care networks in the country.
Our fellowship program is a three-year program committed to training board-eligible pediatricians to be lifelong learners and well-rounded pediatric cardiologists. Fellows benefit from the expertise within the Advocate Children’s Heart Institute including the cardiology faculty and cardiovascular surgeons. Our fellows have extensive clinical exposure to congenital and acquired heart disease, including caring for a busy pediatric cardiothoracic surgery service. Our curriculum is balanced between clinical service, didactics and research.
We hope you will find all the information you need on this website, but if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Thank you for your interest in the Advocate Children's Hospital Pediatric Cardiology Fellowship Program.
Sincerely,
Rupali Gandhi, MD, JD
