Evidence-based medical curriculum

We believe in providing our patients with the most up-to-date treatments, proven through large, randomized clinical trials and incorporated in published guidelines. With medical knowledge expanding at a rapid pace, it is increasingly difficult to remain current with the medical literature. It is important not just to know the facts, but also how to evaluate clinical information and apply it to patient care. Rapid access to resources such as UpToDate, Clinical Key, online medical textbooks and journals, combined with a state-of-the-art intranet and library network, provides a powerful tool for our residency training. We incorporate evidence-based medicine throughout our curriculum.
