Many of our birthing centers partner with Bella Baby Photography for newborn pictures. Typically, one of Bella Baby's professionals will visit each new mom's room and, if desired, stage a shoot for the new arrival and family. A slideshow of the photos will be available on the Bella Baby website for two weeks for viewing and purchase. An access code obtained from the baby's mother is required to view photos of her baby.
Speech and language development begin at birth and so can treatment of hearing deficiencies. Speak to one of our experts about having your newborn's hearing tested while he or she is still in the hospital.
During your delivery, the last thing you'll be thinking of is whether your newborn will one day become seriously ill. However, there is a way to help keep your little one protected: You can now bank your baby's umbilical cord blood, which can be used to treat various conditions. To participate, you’ll need to bring a collection kit to your birthing center on the day of your delivery. You can learn more about banking through ViaCord and Cord Blood Registry.
