The Bethany Fund has awarded more than $9 million to local organizations that share in our collective mission to promote health and wellness and address health disparities and their determinants on Chicago's West Side. It continues to be a great honor and privilege to award grants to local nonprofit organizations that work toward the advancement of Advocate's health care ministry.

Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance: $20,000

To support the Family Literacy Program, which prevents high school dropout and promotes access to education for young students who are parents by providing free and reliable on-site childcare.

To support the Village Keepers project, a leadership development initiative that provides training for residents and students on self-awareness, self-care and how to address personal trauma to reduce conflicts in the neighborhood.
