Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital's new Deb and Alan Feldman Cardiovascular Pavilion expands our cardiac rehabilitation and diagnostics areas, bringing these areas closer to the observation unit and catheterization laboratory. The redesigned facility ensures more convenient care for patients, whether they're coming in for routine diagnostic tests or recovering from a life-threatening heart attack.
Our cardiovascular experts treat a full range of conditions, including:
Know the signs: Interventional cardiologist Mahesh Raju, MD, describes common symptoms of artery disease, and explains how Advocate's heart health teams can diagnose and treat them.
Critical conversations: Thomas Discher, MD, an Advocate cardiologist, describes the important impact of family health history on your risk of developing heart disease, and outlines key questions you should be asking your loved ones.
The Deb and Alan Feldman Cardiovascular Pavilion, open since 2015 on the Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital campus, expands our cardiac rehabilitation and diagnostics areas and brings them closer to the observation unit and catheterization laboratory. The redesigned facility ensures more convenient care for patients, whether they're coming in for routine diagnostic tests or recovering from a life-threatening heart attack.
The Cardiovascular Heart Assessment Recovery and Treatment (H.A.R.T.) Unit brings cardiac outpatient therapy and same-day cardiac procedures together in one central location, making it more efficient and convenient for patients to receive quality care. The H.A.R.T. unit is designed for short stay patients who have had various cardiac-related outpatient procedures.
