Our residency program has a long-standing history of producing highly qualified pharmacists able to practice in a variety of clinical areas within critical care.  Preceptors with specialized knowledge and training in a variety of practice areas are dedicated to the teaching and training of residents and students from local colleges of pharmacy.

Requirements:
Advocate Lutheran General Hospital utilizes PhORCAS for all application material submission.
  • Applicants must be graduates of an accredited school of pharmacy, eligible for Illinois licensure and a US citizen or permanent residents of the United States (no visas are accepted)
  • Successful completion of an ASHP Accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency and Pharm.D. or equivalent
  • Application materials required include a letter of intent, curriculum vitae (CV) and three letters of recommendation (at least 2 from PGY1 clinical preceptors)
