Heart Transplant Program
Advocate Heart Institute is a recognized leader; many of our heart transplant surgeons and cardiologists work in or hold leadership roles in top transplant programs around the country, and we are nationally ranked in the top eight heart transplant hospitals for patient outcomes.
Kidney Transplant Program
Advocate participated in the research and testing that led to U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approval for robotic-assisted, minimally invasive kidney surgery. Our extensive experience with innovative tools and therapies makes us the best choice for kidney transplantation.
Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) Program
Advocate Heart Institute is home to the busiest VAD program in Illinois and one of the top five VAD centers in the nation. Our cardiac surgeons have implanted more than 125 ventricular assist devices (VADs / LVADs) every year since the program began.
