Volunteer assignment opportunities

Our goal is to provide you with a meaningful volunteer experience by matching you with opportunities that best match your interests and preferences.

Please make a note, we do not offer any shadowing opportunities.

Eligibility

Above all else, we ask that our volunteers truly be interested in volunteering and have genuine concern for patients and families. In addition, we ask volunteers to adhere to the following basic program requirements:

• A minimum age requirement is 16 years old and above. Some hospitals may accept 14 and 15-year-old volunteers – please check with the site of your interest.
• We ask for a commitment of 2-4 hours once a week.
• Participate in orientation, training, and in-service programs.
• Follow all Advocate Health policies and procedures.
