Programs for older adults & their caregivers

Caregiving is not an easy task. With so many families caring for aging parents or other adult loved ones, the need for assistance and respite is great. The adult day programs at Advocate offer respite to caregivers, while providing personal care and services to older adults:

A safe place for seniors to socialize, create & grow

The isolation and loneliness often associated with aging and disability can be greatly reduced by attending our Adult Day Enrichment Program, which may help avoid premature residential placement.

Safe, engaging environment: Our Adult Day Enrichment Program offers a safe, secure and stimulating environment for physically or cognitively challenged older adults capable of participating in their care. Clients enjoy a variety of socialization activities including: crafts, games, cooking, exercise classes, intergenerational programs (children's day care on site), and excursions to restaurants and special events.

On-site nursing care and supervision: Trained staff can provide supervision and assistance as needed. Registered nurses monitor the health needs of each client and can provide medication management. Specialized services such as physical, occupational, and speech therapy are available with a doctor’s order.

Transportation: Wheelchair accessible vans are available to transport clients to and from the program.
