At Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, our experienced, compassionate therapists work closely with patients, physicians and families to create a comprehensive treatment tailored to patients' specific needs. Each treatment protocol is determined only after thorough evaluation your physical condition and discussion of your individual goals. Our therapists will also educate patients and caregivers about home treatment plans to maximize the benefits of therapy and improve chances for a sustained recovery of function.

Physical therapy (PT)
Our body motion and function specialists use a wide array of interventions in an effort to evaluate and treat individuals with injury, disability or disease. We help people of all ages return to normal function by developing individualized treatment programs designed to help reduce pain, improve strength and mobility, prevent re-injury, and restore a high quality of life.
Pediatric PT
Services are provided in a fun and stimulating environment that is designed to meet the individual needs of our patients. Our therapists have experience with common neurological injuries sustained at birth, during infancy, as well as orthopedic and genetic disorders. Physical therapists address a child's gross motor skills including sitting, crawling, standing, walking, running, strength, coordination, and balance. (Lake Zurich & Crystal Lake locations)

Occupational therapy (OT)
Occupational therapy is indicated for orthopedic/neurological illness or injury to improve a person's ability to perform daily activities.
Pediatric OT
Occupational therapists provide specialized pediatric treatment to facilitate optimal performance of activities of daily living that include social interaction, performance of self-care skills, hand-eye coordination and sensory/ behavior issues. (Lake Zurich & Crystal Lake locations)
