Day and evening (5:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.):
Where to go: Go directly to our labor and delivery area. Take elevator B to the third floor and make a right turn. Remember: B to 3. Wheelchairs are available. Important: If you believe you’re experiencing a medical crisis, go to the emergency room.
Where to park: You may park in the main garage directly in front of the hospital. Valet parking at the main hospital is available Monday through Friday 8 am - 4:30 pm.
Overnight (8:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.):
Where to go: Go directly to the emergency department. You must enter through the emergency department on the south side of the hospital if you arrive between these hours because the hospital’s front door is locked. When you get there, tell a staff member that you need to go to our labor and delivery area.
Where to park: Emergency department valet parking is available 24/7 at no charge. If your support person parks in the emergency department lot, they will be required to move the car as directed by public safety or our labor and delivery personnel.
When you arrive at the hospital for delivery, you'll need only a small bag containing a few items [PDF] and the name of your child’s doctor. Leave all other luggage in the car – those items can be retrieved after your delivery. Use our checklist to make packing easier [PDF].
Covered meals: You'll have access to meals that are included in the cost of your stay. There will be a menu at your bedside from which you can order food between 6:30 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.. Sandwiches and drinks are available at the nursing units during those times.
