Proudly serving Barrington, and the surrounding communities, for more than 40 years

For more than 40 years the Auxiliary has played a critical role for Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital.  The Volunteer Auxiliary is dedicated to supporting the hospital’s mission and contributing funds to aid in the hospital’s service to the community. Over $7M in donations by the Auxiliary have been used to provide healthcare scholarships; and, to support hospital expansion, equipment and programs that enhance the patient experience.  Volunteer Auxiliary members, men, women and teens/students, can be as active as they like.  Some volunteer weekly at the hospital or at the Catchpenny Resale Shoppe in Barrington; while others attend meetings or take part in fundraising efforts such as Art in the Barn.  Members are encouraged to volunteer in a way that accommodates their busy lives.
